Camp 2019
Year 6 have had an amazing first couple of days at camp. Blessed with good weather and lots of smiles and happy camping sounds! Today children have been canoeing, mountain biking and doing archery followed by a camp fire, a good old sing song and hot chocolate. All happy campers! 😀⛺️

Phone reception at Viney Hill is very poor.  The teachers will try to connect the laptop to wifi in the evening to provide an update of the days activities.

3/7/18 - 10.45am

The 'happy campers' have arrived safely, ready for their week of fun activities!

Dear parents,

Just a few reminders about Year 6 camp this week. Please provide your child with a packed lunch for tomorrow (in a bag that they can throw away). We will be leaving school around 9.30am, so drop off time is the same as usual. On Friday, we plan to arrive back at school at 2.45pm, so again, pick up will be the same time.

We have suggested to the children to bring bags/holdalls, not big cases, as there will not be enough room in the tents.

Providing we have signal, we will send photos to Mrs Salter, who will then put these up on the Year 6 page on the website. So please keep an eye out!

Important: your child will bring home a medical form tonight. This needs to be filled out in as much detail as you feel is necessary. If this is not filled in, we will not be able to administer any medication to your child whilst we are away on camp. Please put this form and any medication in a plastic bag with your child's name cleary written on it. These must be brought in tomorrow morning and handed straight to an adult.

If your child takes Calpol or paracetamol for headaches etc, please provide this in the plastic bag, stating how much and when it should be given on the form.
