Self-Isolation Home Learning
We hope you are feeling better soon. While you are at home, here are some activities that you can complete to keep your brain growing!
Jack and the Beanstalk
1. Watch the story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zurz-pL-uzw&safe=true
2. Make a paper book (folded paper) to write your own Jack and the Beanstalk story!
Play these phonics games to practise your sounds.
Watch this video and practise your doubles!
If you would like to share any of your learning from this week with us, please do this on Tapestry, we would love to see it.
Christmas Home Learning
If you would like to focus on some Home Learning with your child over the Christmas break we suggest you choose the activity that is most appropriate for your child below.
- to practise writing first name from memory
- to practise forming all letters correctly in your first name (from memory)
- to practise writing full name (letters formed correctly) from memory
If you would like to upload any ‘wow moments’ onto Tapestry over the Christmas break we will look forward to sharing these with your child in their return to school in January.
At the beginning of Reception we ask that you focus on your child's reading and sight word practice as their Home Learning. Each child will be given specific targets to work on as part of their Focus Week which we ask you to work on at home.
We value all of the learning that goes on in every area at home and encourage you to add this to your child's learning diary using Tapestry.
