Friends of Trinity Need YOU!
Friends of Trinity will be holding their AGM on Friday 27th September, at 2pm in the Community Hall. We would very much like you to attend to hear what we have been up to, how the funds raised has been spent, what our plans for the future hold and invite you to become part of the FoT committee.
This year, we have sadly had to say goodbye to a number of FoT members, who due to work commitments and children moving to Secondary School, have chosen to move on. We thank them for all the hard work they have done, and look forward to seeing them enjoying themselves at future events. This means that we are looking to welcome new people to the FoT committee. We understand that some of you may see this as a big commitment, but many hands really do make light work! We meet monthly at Hall and Woodhouse, and use this time to discuss funding requests from the school and plan events. Without new members, we will need to start cutting down on the number of events that we can plan and host. We know how much many children look forward to these events, and also how much difference the funding makes to our children’s school experience. It isn’t a decision that we would take lightly.
In the 10 years since FoT has been operational (it was raising money before the school even opened,) we have raised over £70,000. In the last academic year, this amount was over £12,000. We would love to build on this, and help provide exciting and meaningful experiences for our children over the years.
You can be sure of a very warm welcome, the great feeling that you are helping build your child’s future, new friends and a glass of wine or two!
