Mental Health Support
The well-being of our whole community is important to us and we are pleased to share the following opportunities and resources which are available through school.
We follow a Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) Scheme with the children called 'Jigsaw'. This has a strong Mindfulness emphasis - please see Curriculum Tab, PSHE for further information.
Miss Gemma Measures, our Learning Mentor is in school daily with dedicated time on Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, to support children with their well-being.
Our SENCO, Mrs Stanforth is Thrive trained and is available to support children and provide relevant advice for staff.
For more information on how we support Parents/Carers, please see Parent & Carer Tab and choose Oasis.
Key events to promote Mental Health Support
Odd Sock Day is a fun event where everyone wears mismatched socks to celebrate the fact that we are all unique. We took part in school to help raise awareness of anti‑bullying and to remind pupils that it’s okay to be different. By proudly wearing odd socks, we encouraged kindness, acceptance, and celebrating what makes each of us special.
