Special Educational Needs
At Trinity Anglican Methodist Primary School, our vision shapes our commitment to inclusion. Guided by our Christian values, we celebrate every child as a unique individual and inspire them to believe they can achieve more than they ever thought possible in mind, body and spirit. We help all children aim high, ensuring that those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are fully supported across the areas of cognition and learning, communication and interaction, physical needs, and social, emotional and mental wellbeing. Through nurture and challenge, our dedicated inclusion team provides the firm foundation every child needs to thrive, lead and serve as confident and compassionate citizens.
In our school, all Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) falls under the four categories of: Cognition & Learning, Communication & Interaction Needs, Physical and Social Emotional & Well-Being Needs.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, and we have seen firsthand the positive impact that true inclusion has on all our children and the wider school community.
We are exceptionally lucky that we have an inclusion team to support the specific needs of all our children.
