Following the Early Years Foundation curriculum, we plan and provide learning experiences with exciting opportunities for your child to learn through play. We use your child's interests and learning schemes to support and enhance the environment and provide provocation's for learning. Our aim is to support your child to become curious learners with a thirst for knowledge. We support them in being ready for their next transition and provide them with lifelong learning skills by giving plenty of opportunities to work on building relationships, understanding how to communicate with others, and being independent.
Uniform is available and many chose to wear this to promote a sense of identity and belonging but you can chose and logos are not required. We do ask that uniform will support their independence skills; we learn through play and this can get very messy so it is best to have a set of nursery clothes that you don't mind getting messy and possibly stained.
Our ethos
Each child is inducted individually into our setting based on their individual needs and interests. We usually begin this process by visiting your child in their home environment and taking the time to get to know them and your family. We work closely with our families to build positive relationships and value your role in your child's development. Why not visit the Nursery our Facebook page to get a flavour of our learning experiences, with parent reviews and top tips and learning ideas for home.
"Play is the highest form of research."
