Residential
KILVE COURT RESIDENTIAL
Year 6 had a fabulous time at Kilve court. From exploring for fossils on the beach to looking for wildlife in the local streams and ponds, and from team building games to climbing wall challenges, the children had a full range of opportunities and each child could say find something they really enjoyed and something they needed courage and resilience for. We had a great time away and made memories that will last a life time.
World Book Day
We love working with our Reception buddies, whether it is reading with them, writing them a story, sharing learning experiences (such as releasing butterflies that had grown in their classroom) to playing with them.
Mshed
Year 6 Mshed visit
We enjoyed a visit to the Mshed in Bristol to learn about the impact of WW2 on Bristolians from artefacts and first hand accounts.
Year 6 Remembrance Service
We honoured the many men and women who have died in past wars in our Remembrance Service. Every one of us showed our own courage in speaking to an audience. We worked collaboratively to take turns, perform "In Flanders field" and reflect on the importance of remembrance day in a poignant and special worship to our parents.
